Rain Man Unvealed July 25, 2009
"Rain Man" (lovingly referred to by locals ) was unveiled today by Mayor Burns at the new public Joshel Plaza in Geneva, IL. today , kicking off the 2009 Art Fine Arts Festival on 3rd St. The sculpture, which was created by Miles Metzger and donated by Kent Shodeen, stands on a portion of the plaza.

We invite you to join us for a day of shopping at Geneva's juried outdoor gallery of fine art. Victorian homes-turned-businesses in the downtown historic district serve as a picturesque backdrop for the fine arts show. Voted “Best Craft or Art Show” in 2008 by West Suburban Living magazine, the Geneva Arts Fair will showcase over 140 artists from around the country. Art mediums include photography, pottery, fiber, printmaking, glass, mixed media, watercolor, oil/acrylic, wood, sculpture and jewelry.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Kids Art Area – Hands on activities for kids.
The Art Cart – will help transport patrons with their art purchases to their cars.
Emerging Artists - up and coming new artists displaying their artwork on Dodson Place Plaza.
