Fall Fest was a Success!

Our first annual Fall Fest was a huge success! The day started out with rain but soon trickled down to a slow misting here and there. And, even though the sun hid behind the clouds, customers came out and a good time was had by all. We want to thank everyone that stopped by! WE HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP THE MULLED CIDER AND THE POPCORN GOING THROUGH HALLOWEEN so stop by and enjoy! To view more photos please go to Facebook Fan Page.

Honoring Memorial Day

Memorial Day 1919 Uncle Sam Post

Uncle Sam - The PURE Gardener

Red White & Blue Planters

Honoring Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday that is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day. This holiday commemorates U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country. Pay tribute to our men and women who served our country in military service. Many people observe this holiday or remember a fallen loved-one by visiting cemeteries, memorials or displaying red white and blue planters. Our family will BBQ and finally get our tomatoes planted in our garden. I have three brothers who proudly serve our country and my thoughts and prayers will be with them. Whatever you do, please take a moment to think of all the lives that have been lost to fight for our country. And think of all the men and woman that are currently stationed far away from their families.

Corn Maze on a Full Moon at Night

Me in the green coat and Emily in the blue coat.
It was quite dark and hard to see. Marshall lit up the paths with the camera flash.

We went to the world's largest corn maze (Richardson's Farm) last night and Marshall took a few photos. Last time we went we had a great time. This year we arrived after 8:30 PM and ran into a rowdy crowd inside the maze- corn throwing, cursing and bear bottles in hand. Then, we waited almost an hour for kettle corn, after we paid. They didn't have enough staff. We won't return. But, the full moon was beautiful and glowed over the maze which made for a pretty view.
