Save The PURE Oil Building!

Geneva, Illinois March 26, 2012

To our valued customers and friends,
Last month Annette and I were told of a proposal to tear down the historic Pure Gardener building, and replace it with a bank drive through and parking lot.  The Geneva Historic Preservation Committee held a hearing February 21, to discuss the proposal. The committee voted down the proposal 5 to 1. Tonight the Geneva Committee of the Whole will Consider Appeal of the February 21, 2012 Decision of the Historic Preservation Commission to Deny Project at 502-14 W. Next to the Geneva Library. We encourage those who have expressed concern about the demolition to attend this meeting to show their support.
