St. Patrick's Day is the traditional day to plant your peas- both edible and flowering sweet peas. I am off by one day but, I have my whiskey barrel prepped and ready on the corner of 5th and state in downtown Geneva. I usually plant this barrel with heirloom tomatoes, herbs, and edible flowers. But, this year I am in the mood for a change. So, peas it is!
