Do It Yourself Seed Growing Course Offered by
The Geneva Green Market NFP

A Money-Saving Way to Grow Sustainable Vegetables or Flowers
GENEVA, IL – March 11, 2009 – The Geneva Green Market (GGM) NFP announces their first gardening course in their series for 2009, which is “Start a Seedy Relationship with Your Yard.” The course will be taught on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Inglenook Pantry from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. by Craig MacLean of The Pure Gardener. The purpose of the course is to help attendees save money by starting their own vegetable or flower gardens. MacLean will also share information on growing sprouts, onions and garlic.

Attendees will learn how to start their seeds indoors and how to identify and use the right supplies to transplant the seedlings into gardens. Attendees will leave with planted seedling starts and seedling supplies. Participants with their own seeds are welcome to bring them.
