Michael Pollan

This is Micheal Pollan's writing house. If you don't know who Micheal Pollan is then I urge you to click on the title and you will be taken to his website. He is an award winning author who has written numerous books- most notably about the food we eat. Or, shall I say the food that we think that we are eating. I recommend The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals and the In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto. Pollan is adamant about growing and/ or eating organic foods not only because they are better for the environment but because they are better for our health. Craig and I have stated that soil that is enriched with compost and manures, etc. is a healthy soil. And food that is grown in healthy soil is healthy food. Pollan agrees and has written about it in the above books. Pollan states that an apple that one would have eaten 43 years ago contained that same nutrients as 3 apples in today's market. Unless one eats organic. Read his books for inspiration!
